Perfmon Collection Setup Instructions
Performance statistics are critically vital for the long-term health and capacity management of an enterprise environment. Unless a third-party performance statistics collection utility, such as Microsoft System Center, is already in place in an environment, Windows Perfmon on each Windows Server can be configured to constantly record performance statistics locally for future use.
We recently released a video for how to set up Perfmon according to this guide.
We also have released a PowerShell script called BLGtoSQL that allows you to set up a PowerShell script to import this output data into a SQL Server database table for future analysis.
